Effective August 15, 2026. This notice explains the information the Summit Seekers website is designed to collect and how it is used.
What we collect
If you create an account, we collect your name, email address, account type, authentication information handled by our authentication provider, and profile changes you choose to make. If you contact us, we collect the name, email, sender type, topic, and message you submit. Mentor applications collect basic school/grade, location, subject interests, experience, motivation, and availability. Partnership applications collect organization and contact information, organization type, location, collaboration interests, and the information you choose to provide about a proposed partnership.
Why we use it
We use this information to operate accounts, respond to inquiries, provide program updates, maintain website security, and improve Summit Seekers services. We do not design this website for behavioral advertising, and we do not sell account or inquiry information.
Children and learner accounts
Website accounts and private account features are available only to people age 13 or older. Children under 13 may browse public pages without an account but may not create or use an account. Please do not submit a child's sensitive personal information through the general contact form.
Service providers
Netlify hosts the website and may process website form submissions when Netlify Forms is enabled. Supabase provides account authentication and database services. These providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, device information, and security logs as part of delivering and protecting their services.
Security and data minimization
We use access controls and database row-level security to limit who can access stored information. We intentionally keep the website account profile small and ask users not to submit passwords, financial information, medical records, or other sensitive information through general inquiries.
Your choices
You can ask about access, correction, or deletion of information associated with you by contacting summitseekersp@gmail.com. We may need to verify the request before making changes.
Changes
If this website begins collecting materially different information or adds new account features, this notice should be updated before those changes are treated as final.
