Congresswoman Judy Chu’s Congressional Youth Advisory Council (CYAC) is an opportunity for high school students residing or studying in California’s 28th Congressional District to highlight and discuss important issues that face our youth. Students will work directly with staff and a diverse group of leaders from our community to collaborate and identify how the federal government can help the community.

Task will include reviewing and analyzing body-worn camera footage; researching local, state, and federal laws to inform policy proposals; developing department-wide policies to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws; and aiding DPA attorneys in all stages of trial preparation (including sentencing and appeals).
The Eighth Judicial District Summer High School Internship Program is a 3-week summer program, scheduled to begin on Thursday, July 6th, and ends Thursday July 27th.
